День святого Валентина" Выполнила: учитель английского языка Лукьянова И.В. Нижний Новгород Цели мероприятия: Практическая цель: формирование и совершенствование всех видов речевой деятельности (аудирование, чтение, говорение, письмо). Развивающая цель: развитие познавательных способностей, навыков общения на изучаемом языке формирование навыков самоконтроля и контроля речи других учащихся, а также развитие психических функций учащихся: мышления, эмоций, внимания, воли, памяти. Образовательная цель: формирование личности способной к творческой деятельности Воспитательная цель: воспитывать интерес к изучаемому предмету, уметь коллективно решать поставленные задачи. Задачи урока: Воспитательная: приобщение учащихся к культуре, традициям и реалиям страны изучаемого языка в рамках темы, отвечающим опыту, интересам, психологическим особенностям учащихся; повысить мотивацию учащихся к изучению иностранного языка посредством игровых моментов; Развивающая: систематическое развитие умений в аудировании, говорении, чтении и письме в рамках темы; Образовательная: закрепить знания учащихся по теме: «Праздники. День Святого Валентина», расширить общий кругозор учащихся. Оформление кабинета: интерактивная доска, кабинет оформлен к празднику "День влюбленных", записи песен. Ход урока 1. Warming up. (Pre- activity). Hello boys and girls. I am happy to see you at our lesson. Today we are going to speak about holidays in G.B. But first of all let us remember about holidays in our country. What are they? (спрашиваю несколько учеников). And now we start! But first, I would like to ask you a question! Are fond of holidays? Pupils. Of course, we are! Teacher. Why do like holidays? Pupils. We do not study, we have a rest, we have fun, and we have a holiday dinner! Teacher. Certainly! And today we are going to speak about….But guess yourselves! About what are we going to speak today? Teacher. Pupils! Look at the first slide of my presentation and give me the names of holidays! Do it in terns! Pupils of the 1 team: Easter  Pupils of the 2 team:Halloween  Pupils of the 1 team:Valentines Day   Pupils of the 2 team: Christmas, New Year 2. While-activity. Teacher. What are we going to speak about? Pupils. We are going to speak about British holidays. Teacher. Yes, you are right! Excellent! And about Valentines Day. And now let us speak about holidays in G.B. Let us listen to your classmates, they will tell us about them, listen to them very carefully, because after that we will have a competition. (учащиеся рассказывают про праздники в Британии) 1й слайд Christmas (Оленичева Жанна) On the 25th of December there is the greatest holiday of all in England – Christmas. People send X-mas cards to their friends and relatives. People buy a Christmas tree and decorate it with toys, coloured balls and lights. Children wake up early to find stockings full of small presents on their bed. 2й слайд New Year (Халили Васиф) New Year’s Eve all British celebrate on the 31st of December. Most people see with friends and relatives. At midnight they sing New Year songs and wish a happy New Year. 3й слайд St. Valentine’s day (Пашинцева С) On the 14th of February there is St. Valentine’s Day. People send Valentine’s cards to someone they love. Usually they don’t sing them – you must guess who sent cards to you. 4й слайд Mother’s day (Юлин В.) In March there is a holiday for English women – Mother’s Day. People in the family try to help her. On that day they visit their mothers and give them presents and “A Mother’s Day Card” 5й слайд (Рогачева Ольга) The 17th of March is a national holiday in Ireland – St. Patrick’s day. On that day people wear a shamrock. A shamrock is a plant with three leaves. It is the national symbol of Ireland. St. Patrick was a man who had wonderful power. He cleared Ireland of snakes. 6й слайд Easter (Смирнова Н.) In April or at the end of March English people celebrate Easter Day. On Easter Sunday children get chocolate eggs and rabbits. 7й слайд April Fool’s Day (Целикова М.) April Fool’s Day is on the 1st of April. English children like this day very much. They play jokes and tricks on other people, even on teachers. 8й слайд Father’s day (Пашинцева А.) In June the English people celebrate Father’s Day. On that day children send cards and give presents to their father’s. 9й слайд (Шероухов В.) In Gteat Britain children don’t go to school on the 1st of September. They begin to study on the second Tuesday of September. 10й слайд Halloween (Филатова А.) On the 31st of October there is Halowe’en. The symbol of this holiday is "Jack o'lantern". People make it from a pumpkin. Children like Haloween parties, they put on witch’s and ghost’s dresses. They go “trick or treat”. Thank you. And now let us start our competition. Let us meet our judges. We have 2 teams. You should introduce yourselves. (название и девиз) №1. All of us like holidays. And in our first task you should name words associated with the topic “Holidays”. The winners will be the team that knows the large number of words. You get 1 point for each word. Презентация №2 №2. And now I will show you a picture with symbols of different holidays. You should name the holiday. Who do it first will have 5 points. 1 - Halloween 2 - St. Patrick’s day 3 - St. Valentine’s day 4 - April Fool’s Day 5 – Easter 6 - New Year 7 - St. Valentine’s day 8 - Father’s day 9 – Halloween 10 – Easter 11 - April Fool’s Day 12 - Mother’s day 13 - St. Patrick’s day 14 - 1st of September. Презентация №3 And now let us speak about a holiday we will celebrate in 3 days, it is St. Valentine’s day. February 14th is a romantic day with cards, roses, candy, cupids and kisses. (слайд 1) So many people celebrate this loving holiday without the knowledge of its history. (слайд 4) №4. And now I want you to do your own cards and you should write a poem. The team that do the best card will get 5 points (в течение 5 мин предлагаю сделать валентинку). 3.
