Цели урока: продолжать знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона;
развитие навыков просмотрового и изучающего чтения;
тренировка навыков выразительного чтения стихотворения наизусть;
закрепление речевого образца «I have been to».
Ход урока
Организационный момент
-Good morning , boys and girls!
-I’m glad to see you! Good morning, good morning,

Who is on duty today?
Who is absent?
What is the date today?
What is the weather like today?
Постановка цели урока
-Dear children, today we’ll continue to speak about London’s places of interest, read and play.
3. Фонетическая зарядка
Let’s start our lesson with pronunciation and repeat a tongue twister. (Слайд №2)Приложение1.
-Little Linda lost her locket,
Lovely , lucky, little locket.
Lately Linda found her locket
Lying still in Linda’s pocket.

4. Речевая разминка
-Let’s play a game. I’ll name you a city or a place and you tell me if you have been to this or that place or not.
T: London.
P: I have never been to London.
T: Moscow.
P: I have been to Moscow.
T: Washington.
P: I have never been to Washington. Etc.
5. Проверка домашнего задания
T: Do you remember our poem about the little girl? Who is ready to recite the poem? (Слайд №3)
Учащиеся читают стихотворение наизусть
6. Развитие навыков просмотрового чтения.
T: Today I’d like you to introduce new London’s places of interest.
Open your books at page 80, exercise 10 and look through the text for 5 minutes and then match the words in exercise 11 with the text.
(дети читают про себя текст 5 минут и выполняют упр.11)
7. Отрабатывание лескики из текста
Запись на доске: to be rich in, to be free, property, royal, life-size, moving, models, image, figure.
T: Repeat the words after me. (T→Cl, T→P1, P2, P3…)
T: Can you make up the word combinations or sentences using these words?
(Ученики составляют свои словосочетания и предложения из данных слов)
8. Физминутка
T: Let’s relax a little and sing a song “Five little monkeys”
9. Now we shall read the text aloud and I show you some pictures.
Ученики читают по цепочке текст по 3-5 предложений.
10. Контроль навыков понимания прочитанного текста
T: Do you like the stories? Do you want to visit these places?
Now let’s revise how you have understood the text and do exercise 12, page 82. Read the statements and decide if they are true or false.
Дети выполняют упражнение самостоятельно, а затем проверяем со всеми учениками.
11. Итоги урока
T: Today we have spoken about London’s sights. What are they? What places do you want to visit?
We shall continue to discuss the text next time.
12. Самооценка и оценка учителя.
Children, there are colourful cars on your desks . I want you to evaluate your work at the lesson. If you think you work well, you have done your work properly, show me red cards. If you had some mistakes and you’ re not satisfy your work , show green cards. And if you work so so and were not very active show me yellow cards.
(Ученики дают себе самооценку, показывая карточки разного цвета.)
