в 5 классе по учебнику Spotlight-5
по теме “Don’t miss it!”
Цель: развивать у обучающихся коммуникативные навыки и навыки чтения по теме «Кино».
Задачи:
1) обучающие:
- развитие лексических навыков по теме «Кино»;
- практика учащихся в устной речи, чтении (развитие умений поискового, изучающего чтения и языковой догадки);
- развитие грамматических навыков (распознавание и употребление в речи неправильных глаголов в Past Simple);
2) развивающие:
- развитие языковой догадки;
- развитие памяти, воображения;
- развитие навыка работы с информацией;
- расширение словарного запаса;
3) воспитательные:
- способствовать осознанию возможностей самореализации средствами иностранного языка;
- формирование интереса к изучению темы.
Языковой и речевой материал:
ЛЕ: horror, romance, comedy, action, (science fiction, romantic comedy, musical, war film, historical drama, western, thriller);
To star, to face, secret journey, witness, battle, good and evil, acting, must-see;
To be well worth seeing, to be a bore.

Ход урока
I. Приветствие и сообщение задач урока.
Т: Hello, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you today. How are you? How is your mood? What date is it today, I wonder? What day of the week is it? Is anybody absent?
Today we’ll have a really interesting lesson “Don’t miss it!”. We’ll read and talk about different types of films, share ideas about your favourite ones and practice in usage of the past forms of some irregular verbs.
II. Подготовка учащихся к восприятию иноязычной речи.
1. Фонетическая разминка. Повторение изученных слов и введение новых по теме «Кино».
T: Listen to the music. Look at the list of types of films.

Horror – ужасы

T: Let’s explain the words in bold:
To star (be the main character in the film) – играть главную роль,
to face (deal with, confront) – встретиться лицом к лицу,
secret journey (a trip which other people are not allowed to know about) - тайное путешествие,
witness (sb who sees a crime or an accident) - свидетель,
battle (fight) - битва,
good and evil (sth which is right and bad or harmful) – добро и зло,
acting (the job of performing in plays or films) – игра актеров,
must-see (sth that is so good that people should see it) – обязательно стоит посмотреть всем.
T: Read the email and answer questions:

3. Who stars in the film?

T: How does Samantha recommend the film?
Which two sentences below can be used instead?
1. It’s super (enjoyable/excellent/very good).

The film ‘Fly Away Home’
The film ‘Fly Away Home’ is a fantastic action film. It is about a girl, Amy, who with the help of her dad and a few friends tries to rescue (спасти) a flock (стая) of Canadian geese. Amy, the main character, is played by Anna Paquin. Her father is played by Jeff Daniels. The film can make you cry (плакать), and it can make you laugh (смеяться). It’s a great film for the whole family.
